AOTA Members Urge Research Institutes and Congress to Protect and Expand Rehab Research Efforts

AOTA member researchers traveled to Washington on several occasions in the past month in support of existing rehabilitation research efforts, to encourage enhanced efforts at the National Institutes of Health (NIH), and to lobby Congress to reject a White House proposal to transfer the National Institute on Disability, Independent Living, and Rehabilitation Research (NIDILRR) to NIH.
