Creating space for all minds: Mental health, inclusion, and representation

The Occupational Therapy Practice Framework: Domain and Process (4th ed.; American Occupational Therapy Association [AOTA], 2020), states that occupational therapy practitioners (OTPs) must “create an inclusive, supportive environment” (p. 20). Although I have seen many examples of this in action with clients, when it comes to looking inward at the profession, there is opportunity for improvement.
