Better together: AOTA’s approach to federal advocacy

As the Vice President of Federal Affairs and Regulatory Policy, I am frequently asked what my typical day looks like. While one day is never the same as the next, one consistent piece of my job is relationship building and developing partnerships with other Washington, DC, advocacy groups. This is true for every member of the American Occupational Therapy Association (AOTA) Federal Affairs Team. Advocacy partnerships help fuel our success, and we help to amplify our partners’ voices in return.
