Cooking Creatively: A memory enhancing program

Occupational therapy practitioners are not only equipped to remediate deficits but are well versed in a variety of interventions to maintain current levels of functioning in clients. At SUNY Downstate Health Science University, occupational therapy students participate in a 3-semester-long service-learning project to collaborate with community organizations that have a potential need for occupational therapy but no occupational therapy practitioners on staff.
