Thank you from AOTA

Your membership is what makes AOTA's work possible. From advocacy and professional resources to peer connection and learning opportunities, everything we do is built around you.
Member Appreciation Week is our chance to say what we hope you feel all year long: We're glad you're part of this community, and we don't take that for granted. Here’s our chance to show you how much we’re grateful for you!

Celebrating our members
AOTA is only as strong as our incredible members. This week, we're proud to spotlight two members — among our thousands! — whose work reflects their dedication and commitment to occupational therapy.
Every single AOTA member brings something valuable to this profession. We're proud to celebrate that this week and always. Are you doing something incredible in support of the occupational therapy profession? Does a friend or colleague have a remarkable story?
Kelly Sajdak, OTD, MSOLA, OTR/L
AOTA member-volunteer Kelly Sajdak shares how the skills and perspective of OT practitioners can shape healthcare quality, patient outcomes, and professional leadership.
Lauren Trent, MOT, OTR/L
AOTA member-volunteer Lauren Trent highlights OT's vital role in upper-limb prosthetic rehabilitation and recovery following workplace injury and the meaningful difference skilled, compassionate care can make.
Advocacy in action
One of the many important things your membership supports is advocacy, the ongoing work of protecting and advancing occupational therapy with the public, at state legislatures, and all the way to Capitol Hill.
Through AOTA Advocacy and Advocacy Issues, you can stay informed on the priorities and policy developments shaping the profession.

Connect with your peers
Some of the most valuable parts of a membership aren't resources. They're relationships. AOTA offers several ways to find your people and build connections that last.
Special Interest Sections
Connect with members who share your practice area and professional interests and bring those conversations back to your everyday work.
Communities of Practice
Focused spaces to learn, exchange ideas, and grow alongside practitioners who care about the same things you do.
CommunOT
AOTA's member-only online community, where you can ask questions, share what's working, and learn from occupational therapy practitioners across every setting and specialty.
Thank you for all you do.
AOTA salutes you for the care you bring to the communities you serve, the commitment you bring to the occupational therapy, and the community you help build together. We're proud to support you and honored to have you as a member.
