AOTA invites occupational therapy practitioners, educators, researchers, business owners, innovators, and emerging leaders to submit proposals for the Entrepreneurship Specialty Conference. This two-day virtual conference is designed for practitioners seeking practical business strategies, innovative service models, and entrepreneurial solutions that can be implemented immediately. The conference will feature 10 educational sessions and opportunities for networking, discussion, and resource sharing.

Call for Reviewers
August 17 – September 4, 2026: Call for Reviewers
AOTA is seeking volunteers to serve as reviewers for the Entrepreneurship Specialty Conference. Reviewers will help evaluate submissions and contribute to the development of a practical, high-quality program focused on occupational therapy entrepreneurship, business development, innovation, and emerging practice opportunities.
Reviewer Requirements
- All reviewers must have a minimum of 5 years of occupational therapy or occupational therapy assistant experience.
- Experience in entrepreneurship, business ownership, private practice, practice management, emerging practice areas, leadership, or related advanced practice areas is preferred.
- Based on reviewer participation, each reviewer will be assigned approximately 10–15 proposals for review.
- Reviewers must complete all assigned reviews within the designated review period.
- Reviewers must maintain confidentiality throughout the review process.
Please ensure your AOTA profile and professional credentials are current prior to volunteering as a reviewer.
Deadline to sign up as a reviewer: September 4, 2026, 11:59 pm PT
September 10 – September 24, 2026: Reviewers will review submitted proposals.
