2026 AOTA Election results

AOTA extends our heartfelt congratulations to this year's elected volunteer leaders! We are excited to welcome you to your new roles and look forward to your stewardship as you work to advance the Mission and Vision of AOTA.

To all candidates who stepped forward — thank you. Your willingness to engage, share your experience, and connect with members throughout this process is deeply appreciated and does not go unnoticed.

Most importantly, we are grateful to every member who participated in the election process. To ensure fairness and security, our elections are conducted by an independent third-party vendor, with all ballots encrypted for confidentiality. This year, 3.06% of AOTA membership cast their vote.

Thank you for your commitment to AOTA and our profession. Your voice matters, and your engagement strengthens our community!

A Note About Minimum Quorum

As a nonprofit incorporated in Washington, DC, AOTA is governed by DC nonprofit law and our organizational Bylaws, which require a minimum quorum of voting members for elections to be valid. Unfortunately, 12 races [OTA-ALC, AFWC-ALC, RA Rep for Florida, Hawaii, Idaho, Indiana, Michigan, Missouri, New York #2, Pennsylvania #2, Puerto Rico, and Utah] did not reach the required quorum based on the number of votes cast. Those positions will be filled through the appointment process.
