Taking heart from our ethics and ethos

Most of us love our professional choice. We do face tough times, however, and they often come unbidden. Demands for our time may feel crushing. We may find disrespect for the work that we do. Our reserves for compassion may dwindle. We may wonder whether our choice of occupational therapy was wise. And on those days when our spirits flag, it helps to know where to turn.
