Consultation 101 with community seniors

At Keiser University in Fort Myers, Florida, we (the authors) are part of a Bridge Program leading to a Master of Science in Occupational Therapy (MSOT). Already working in the field as occupational therapy practitioners (OTPs), we come to campus one time per month to participate in hands-on learning activities to help prepare us for the next stage of our career as OTRs. Our cohort consists of students from across Florida and out of state. Within the geriatrics curriculum, we were recently tasked with acting as consultants to an extremely busy senior wellness center in Gulfport, Florida.
