New to INSPIRE? If this is your first INSPIRE or it has been a while since you have attended, join our panel of conference veterans to learn helpful tips and tricks to make the most of your AOTA INSPIRE experience. Topics covered include navigating the convention center and headquarters hotel, conference services, how to choose which sessions to attend and obtaining contact hours, features of the conference app, and more.
Speakers
Leslie Jones
Leslie Jones, CAE, CMP is the Director, Meetings and Events at AOTA and oversees the event strategy for the organization. She has more than 20 years’ experience working with associations including leading operations, certification, education, and conference programming. Leslie has worked for AOTA for more than 15 years including time with the accreditation and marketing and communication teams. She graduated from the University of Maryland at College Park with a degree in Journalism.
Bridget Campbell
Bridget Campbell, CMP is currently the Manager of Meetings & Events at AOTA, working on the logistics for INSPIRE and the Specialty Conferences. Previously, Bridget has worked the Support & Solutions booth at INSPIRE, helping attendees navigate the center, the app, and answering any of our attendees questions.
Paula McNamara
Paula McNamara, OTD, MS, OTR/L has been practicing in schools and community mental health for almost two decades. McNamara has served on the Pennsylvania Occupational Therapy Association Board for the last 10 years. She earned her master’s degree from the University of North Carolina Chapel Hill Division of Occupational Science and Occupational Therapy and her post-professional Doctorate in Occupational Therapy from Chatham University.
As a transplant to Philadelphia (having lived in NC and CA), McNamara is excited to welcome practitioners and students to AOTA in Philadelphia and all that the city has to offer!
Stacia Kozidis
Stacia Kozidis, MS, OTR graduated from Husson University in Bangor, ME in 2013. She spent the first 4+ years of her career working at skilled nursing facilities in Iowa as an occupational therapy practitioner and eventually a Director of Rehabilitation. After returning to Maine in 2018, she began working in the mental health field and spent the next 5 years practicing and conducting research at an inpatient psychiatric and addiction recovery center.
