Long Covid Community of Practice Open House
Upon registration you will receive the zoom link and a calendar invite to download.
As the global community moves further from the COVID-19 pandemic, rates of long COVID remain steady, with 7% of all adults1 —roughly 17 million people—reported currently having long COVID in March 2024. Occupational Therapy has been consistently recognized by patients and providers as a high value service to support affected individuals- as they learn to manage and adapt to the physical, cognitive, psychological, emotional, social, environmental, and functional challenges posed by the condition.
The Long Covid Community of Practice serves as a collaborative space for OT practitioners working or interested in long covid care across the lifespan, to drive knowledge mobilization and enhance our professions responsiveness to the emerging needs of the long covid population.
Members and non-members are welcome to attend this kick-off to learn more about this community!
