Equipping families with accessible resources to monitor child development is a powerful way to increase early intervention referrals. OTPs play a vital role in promoting early identification and timely support for developmental delays in children.

Sarah Fabrizi, PhD, OTR/L, FAOTA is a Professor and Program Director of the Occupational Therapy Program at Florida Gulf Coast University. She serves as a CDC Act Early Ambassador to the state of Florida.

Angela Caldwell, PhD, OTR/L, FAOTA is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Occupational Therapy at the University of Pittsburgh. She serves as a CDC Act Early Ambassador to the state of Pennsylvania.
