AOTA Private Practice Office Hours
Join AOTA for a collaborative 1-hour reimbursement office hours session where occupational therapy practitioners can discuss reimbursement challenges, policy updates, denials, authorizations, and payer issues, while sharing practical solutions, resources, and peer insights with AOTA experts and colleagues.
Reimbursement challenges in private practice continue to evolve, and practitioners often learn just as much from one another as they do from policy updates and guidance. Join AOTA for this interactive, 1-hour office hours session where occupational therapy practitioners can come together to discuss real-world reimbursement challenges, share experiences, and exchange practical solutions.
Whether your questions relate to pediatric or adult services, prior authorization, denials, documentation, Medicare, Medicaid, commercial payers, or emerging policy changes, this session provides an opportunity to engage with both AOTA reimbursement and advocacy experts and fellow practitioners facing similar issues.
Rather than a formal presentation, this collaborative discussion is driven by participant questions and experiences. Attendees will hear what others are seeing across practice settings, learn about current reimbursement trends and advocacy efforts, and leave with practical strategies, resources, and peer insights to help navigate barriers to payment and access to care. If you missed the Private Practice Town Hall at Inspire, this is your opportunity to join the discussion. And if you were at Inspire, continue the conversation!
All are welcome!
AOTA staff Julie Lenhardt and Kim Karr will be available to answer questions and facilitate the discussion.
