Senate Health Care Bill Threatens Medicaid

On June 27th the Senate announced that the vote on the "Better Care Reconciliation Act" (no bill number) would be postponed until sometime after the 4th of July recess. This action was taken because it was unclear whether there were enough votes to pass the legislation. Negotiations on the provisions continue. It is important for you to continue to make your voice heard, and to let your Senators know the importance of the Medicaid program
