An important message from AOTA's Board President
The American Occupational Therapy Association (AOTA) announces Neil Harvison, PhD, OTR, FNAP, FAOTA as its interim CEO, effective July 1, 2026. The Board of Directors extends its gratitude to Katie Jordan, OTD, MBA, OTR/L, FAOTA for her leadership, vision, and commitment to AOTA and the occupational therapy profession.
The Board will begin a deliberate, national search for the Association’s next Chief Executive Officer. While the organization prepares for its next chapter, the Board is committed to ensuring operational stability and continued momentum towards Vision 2030 and AOTA’s strategic plan.
Additional communications will be distributed as leadership decisions are made. With a clear focus on growth, innovation, and empowerment, AOTA remains committed to serving the occupational therapy practitioners and advancing the profession.
