Workers' Compensation

Workers' Compensation (WC) Insurance, sometimes referred to as Workers' Comp, is a type of business insurance generally required by states to provide for loss of income, medical expenses, and other related expenses when an employee is injured or develops a health condition related to his or her work environment.

Workers’ Comp programs are established and administered by each individual state. Therefore, information such as covered medical services, provider requirements and rates can be found on individual state WC division websites.

For specific information, please refer to A Workers' Compensation Administrators Directory. This directory contains local contact information for each state and links to other WC related websites.
