The AOTA Commission on Practice (COP) is seeking feedback on a new position paper on “Occupational Therapy’s Role in Case Management.”
In 2016, the COP was charged by the Representative Assembly to develop an official document on the role of occupational therapy practitioners in case management.
This document was developed by COP in conjunction with occupational therapy content experts. The paper offers support for occupational therapy practitioners working as case managers or considering this role, employers, policy makers, payers, and regulatory entities regarding the role of occupational therapy’s in case management.
