AOTA Testimony for Senate Hearing: Law Enforcement Responses to Disabled Americans


Today, the Senate Judiciary Committee, Subcommittee on the Constitution, Civil Rights and Human Rights held a hearing entitled: “Law Enforcement Responses to Disabled Americans: Promising Approaches for Protecting Public Safety”.   AOTA's Federal Affairs Department submitted testimony about the role of occupational therapy practitioners in helping to meet the public safety needs of people with disabilities and mental illness.  Click here to read the testimony.
