AOTA Awards: Nominate a colleague who has made significant contributions to the profession for an AOTA award. Deadline September 23.

Ethics Review: A draft of the revised Occupational Therapy Code of Ethics is ready for members to review and provide feedback via an online survey (AOTA member login required). Deadline October 10. 

Hill Day: Advocate for the profession during AOTA's Hill Day on September 15. Registration deadline is August 31.

Official Document Review: The Commission on Practice wants your feedback on a new official document on seating and wheeled mobility. Deadline September 2.

Register Your Backpack Day Event: If you are a holding an event for AOTA’s National School Backpack Awareness Day on September 17, register it with us. We have a limited supply of Carry Gear Solutions backpacks (children’s ages 5 to 10 years) that are available on a first-come, first-served basis.

Accreditation Actions: See the final accreditation decisions made by the Accreditation Council for Occupational Therapy Education (ACOTE®) at its June 9, 2014 conference call meeting.

Reviewers Needed: The Evidence Exchange is a central repository for evidence-based literature reviews and related resources. We're looking for individuals to review critically appraised summaries (CAPs) of research articles. Deadline September 15.

Falls Prevention Awareness Day: Falls Prevention Awareness Day is on September 23. Help raise awareness and prevent falls in the older adult population by planning an activity in your community. Use our resources for planning.

Clinical Registry: AOTA is exploring the development of a clinical registry for occupational therapy, and in support of that, AOTA recently joined the American Medical Association’s National Quality Registry Network (NQRN) as a member of the NQRN Council. Read more.

Pediatric Chat: Join us on August 25 at 1 pm ET for a pediatric chat on promoting strengths.

Representative Assembly: Read a summary of the special RA meeting held in June.

G-Codes Survey: Do you use G-codes under Medicare Part B? Please take our one question survey to help us work with CMS to refine and improve the process.
