Volunteer Opportunities: The Volunteer Leadership Development Committee (VLDC) is seeking candidates for a number of leadership positions across the Association. Deadline is April 25. See them all and consider volunteering.

Emerging Leaders: Are you an OT or OTA Student in the last year of  your professional preparation or new practitioner with 5 years or less experience who is ready to develop as a leader in your profession? Consider applying for AOTA’s Emerging Leaders Development Program. Application submission begins April 14.

ACOTE: The Accreditation Council for Occupational Therapy Education (ACOTE®) is seeking new members for the Roster of Accreditation Evaluators (RAE). RAE members evaluate the compliance with ACOTE Standards for more than 450 OT and OTA educational programs.

Older Drivers: Take this free online training on April 22 to become a We Need to Talk Facilitator. Learn how to conduct seminars that provide tools and information to adult children, caregivers, and friends who want to discuss limiting or stopping driving with an older adult.

Evidence Exchange: We have new worksheets and guidelines for Critically Appraised Papers (CAPs) to make it easier and quicker to submit to the Evidence Exchange, AOTA's central repository for evidence-based literature reviews and related resources. The Evidence Exchange is now open for CAP submissions.

Coding: With new codes for occupational therapy and changing payment systems, AOTA needs direct access to occupational therapy practitioners with knowledge in these areas. Take a 5 minute survey to let us know your expertise and that you’d like to be a part of this important endeavor. We especially need practitioners in mental health and private practice.
