OT Doctoral-Level Programs - Developing

New programs that are not yet accredited but have completed the first step in the 3-step initial accreditation process. Programs were granted "Developing Program Status" if they were reviewed at the time the 2006 ACOTE Standards were in effect. With the implementation of the 2011 ACOTE Standards, the terminology has changed and programs are now granted "Candidacy Status". Both terms indicate that the program has successfully completed Step 1 of the initial accreditation process.
