Reprinting AOTA Copyrighted Material
How To Request Reprint Permission
Articles published in AOTA publications, on the AOTA Web site, or through other AOTA media venues are copyrighted by AOTA and may not be published elsewhere, in whole or in part, without permission from AOTA.
All requests to reprint and abstract articles or other copyrighted materials from AOTA publications in printed, recorded, or electronic format must go through the Copyright Clearance Center at www.copyright.com.
AOTA copyrighted materials include, but are not limited to, The American Journal of Occupational Therapy (AJOT), OT Practice, OT Week, Special Interest Section (SIS) Quarterlies, The Journal of Occupational Therapy Students (JOTS), the AOTA 1-Minute Update, online workshops, and single title publications.
If AOTA permission is granted, AOTA must be properly identified as the original publisher and copyright holder. As a courtesy, publishers should contact the author of the material for permission to reprint as well. In the case of two or more authors, the permission of the senior author is sufficient.
To request permission, please contact the Copyright Clearance Center at www.copyright.com.
