  • Recognize two or three challenges or approaches to assessing the needs of the client with advanced dementia;
  • Select two or three strategies to maximize occupational performance for the client with advanced dementia;
  • Identify at least two intervention activities that an occupational therapist can implement with a client with advanced dementia and his or her caregivers; and
  • Recognize the role of and services occupational therapists can provide for clients with dementia through the end of life.
