Using the Fieldwork Performance Evaluation Forms: An Interactive Approach
Karen Atler, MS, OTR, is assistant professor in the Occupational Therapy Department at Colorado State University. She served as cochair of the Fieldwork Evaluation Revision Task Force from 1998 to 2002. She has been involved in fieldwork education for most of her 22 years as an occupational therapist, both as a practitioner and educator. Karen participated in the AOTF-funded grant related to fieldwork that resulted in the development of the Fieldwork Experience Assessment Tool, coordinated and developed Level I fieldwork sites, and supervised Level I Fieldwork students and Level II Fieldwork students in emerging practice areas.
Roberta Wimmer, OTR/L, is an instructor and academic fieldwork coordinator in the School of Occupational Therapy at Pacific University in Forest Grove, Oregon. She served as cochair of the Fieldwork Evaluation Revision Task Force from 1998 to 2002. Throughout her 27 years as an occupational therapist, she has had a strong interest in fieldwork education, first as a fieldwork educator and now as an academic fieldwork coordinator and part-time fieldwork educator.
