Center for Medicare & Medicaid Innovation
The Center for Medicare and Medicaid Innovation (the “Innovation Center”) was formed under the auspices of the ACA to test innovative payment and service delivery models that effectively reduce costs while preserving or enhancing care quality for beneficiaries of Medicare, Medicaid, and CHIP. The Innovation Center has funding ($10 billion) and flexibility to select models for testing and to promote successful models for expansion across settings and payors. Below are some Medicare initiatives with which the Innovation Center is involved.
