A group of occupational therapy scholars, educators and practitioners from 13 countries met in July 2004 to determine the state-of-the-art in evidence-based occupational therapy practice and to organize collaborative international efforts to support and enhance evidence-based practice.
This international working conference was hosted jointly by the American Occupational Therapy Association, Inc. (AOTA) and the American Occupational Therapy Foundation (AOTF), through a grant from the federal Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality (AHRQ).
