Missi Zahoransky—Home and Community Health Special Interest Section Chairperson
Missi Zahoransky, OTR/L, and her husband have owned a Medicare- and Medicaid-certified home health agency for over 14 years with a zero-deficiency record. She is also the owner of Total Rehabilitation Specialists—a contract therapy company that specializes in the provision of home care therapy services. She received her master’s degree from Cleveland State University.
Zahoransky has presented at the national, state and local level both as an occupational therapist and as a home health care administrator. She has written multiple articles about home health care as well as reimbursement issues. Additionally, she is a part-time faculty member at Cleveland State University, and currently chairs the Visiting Committee for the College of Science. She has served at both the state and national level of occupational therapy associations.
