AOTA Annual Conference and Expo: Better Every Year!
We don’t just listen to your feedback after Conference—we use it to make the next one even better! Some of the many new things we’ve added this year are more advanced-level educational sessions such as best practice for the arthritic hand and adult cognition; an enhanced online Conference program, making it easier to plan your schedule; increased capacity and more times to obtain tickets for the SIS Roundtable Discussions; a reorganized Tech Day; student-only sessions, and more! For the full list, click here.
We also have even more videos to help prepare you for Conference, including how to use the online itinerary builder, pointers for first-time attendees, messages from AOTA’s Board of Directors, clips about the Plenary Session and Eleanor Clarke Slagle lecture, and a clip from the Local Conference Committee welcoming you to Indianapolis.
For insider information and to stay updated during the Conference, check out the Conference blog here. This is also a great place to leave comments!
After you’ve signed up, AOTA has two ways for you to connect with other attendees. The Conference Connections forum can help you share rides, rooms, or any other part of the Conference experience. The Friend Connect post in the Conference Connections forum gives you the opportunity to add your information to a voluntary list of attendees. After you do so, you can view the list and sort by any field (e.g., school, state, practice area, etc.) to find people you already know, or to connect with those in your geographic or practice area.
