AOTA Comments on Proposed Rule Regarding EHB Data Collection (July 3, 2012)
AOTA submitted comments (members-only) on July 3, 2012 in response to a proposed rule from the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) outlining the coverage data to be collected from certain health insurers to inform the definition of essential health benefits (EHB). The rule also proposes the first of a two-phased approach for recognizing accrediting entities to implement the standards established under the Affordable Care Act (ACA) for qualified health plans.
