Entrances
AOTA will be using the older portion of the Indiana Convention Center. Access can be gained from street level or through the covered walkways that are connected with the various hotel properties.
Elevators
There are elevators located throughout the Convention Center that allow access to both levels.
All elevators are equipped with raised/Braille designation at the cabin controls and on the door jambs. There is no auditory signal at each level. The public elevators will accommodate 2 to 3 scooters or wheelchairs.
Signage
Informational and directional signage is located overhead. Signs indicating meeting rooms and restrooms are on the walls adjacent to the doorways and have raised/Braille designation. AOTA will provide additional directional signage.
Meeting Rooms
All meeting rooms are wheelchair accessible. The actual arrangement of meeting room seating will be coordinated by AOTA. Doors typically remain open during meetings. All doors have lever handles. There is low-pile carpeting throughout the meeting rooms.
Restrooms
There are entry doors for each restroom that are wheelchair accessible. The Indiana Convention Center did widen some bathroom doors at AOTA's request. All sinks have automatic sensors. Not all restrooms have at least one wheelchair-accessible stall with at least a 60" turning radius. Every other restroom has the larger accessible stall available.
Telephones & Alarm Systems
There are limited public phones in the Convention Center.
The alarm system in the Convention Center has both auditory and visual components. Convention Center staff will direct attendees in the event of an emergency.
Drinking Fountains
There are numerous drinking fountains throughout the facility, with high–low fountains at all locations.
Service Animals
All service animals must be curbed. There are numerous patches of grass outside of the entranceways.
Parking
Parking is available throughout the adjoining neighborhood. For more specific options, click here. Both garage and open air lots are available.

Minuses: A number of the rooms are not accessible as the hotel is located in an old railroad station. A number of train cars serve as guest rooms. No roll-in shower rooms.
