Here's how to register
Complete the
online registration form by October 14 and save.
- AOTA Student Members pay only $90
- Nonmembers pay $125
Regular registration must be received no later than October 28.
- AOTA Student Members pay $100
- Nonmembers $135
VISA and MasterCard are accepted, and checks can be made payable to AOTA.
After October 28, contact AOTA to check space availability. If space is still available, registration will be taken onsite.

New this year: Faculty Chaperones
Persons traveling to Wheeling as a faculty chaperone may reserve a sleeping room at the Westin Chicago North Shore. Designated chaperones should indicate that they are faculty when completing the online registration form. Only registered students may participate in education sessions and meal functions. Faculty chaperones may attend educational sessions as space permits. A chaperone lounge will be open on Saturday.
Hotel Information
The AOTA/NBCOT National Student Conclave will take place at the Westin Chicago North Shore Hotel, 601 North Milwaukee Avenue, Wheeling, IL 60090.

Check-in time is 3:00 pm; check-out time is 12:00 noon.
Rates
- $109.00 single/double (1-2 people, 1-2 beds)
- $119 triple; $129 quad (3-4 people, 2 beds)
- Rollaway beds will be provided based on hotel's availability at an additional charge of $10.00 per room per night.
- Suites are available upon request and subject to hotel's space and prevailing suite rate availability.
- State and local taxes are currently 11% (subject to change).
Making your reservations
- Conclave attendees are encouraged to reserve their sleeping rooms early. Housing deadline is Wednesday, October 22.
- Reservations will be accepted by phone. Please call 800-Westin-1 (800-937-8461) and tell the agent you are reserving a sleeping room for the AOTA/NBCOT National Student Conclave, November 14-16, 2008.
- All reservations must be guaranteed by a major credit card.
- When making your reservations, have the following information available: address information, daytime phone number, fax number, and e-mail address along with the number of rooms requesting, names of all occupants with arrival and departure dates, requested room type (e.g., single king or two double beds), specific information on accessible accommodations (e.g., TTY, closed-captioned TV, signaling system, wheelchair access), and credit card number, expiration date, and name on card. Credit cards must be valid through the dates of the Conclave. Neither wire transfers nor purchase orders can be accepted.
- Deposits are refundable for cancellations occurring up to 48 hours prior to arrival.
- Upon request, the hotel will send an e-mail or fax confirmation of reservation(s) and/or reservation changes to registered guests within 7 days of receipt of information.
Hotel parking
The hotel offers complimentary self-parking for all guests. Valet parking is $10 per day with in/out privileges. Non-hotel guests are not guaranteed parking.
Airport transportation
Chicago O’Hare International Airport is 16 miles from the Westin Chicago North Shore; Midway Airport is 40 miles. From O’Hare Airport, the hotel recommends use of American Taxi. American Taxi offers flat suburban rates ($30.00 each way); city cabs charge based on time ($70.00+ each way). American Taxi’s phone number is 847-255-9614. Town car service from O’Hare can be provided by AAA Limousine (approximately $40 each way). AAA Limousine’s phone number is 847- 272-7320.

From Downtown Chicago:
Take Interstate 90 West to 294 North towards Milwaukee. Take the Lake Cook Road exit. Turn left onto Lake Cook Road heading west. Stay to right and exit at Milwaukee Avenue. Turn left onto US 45/Illinois 21/Milwaukee Avenue. Turn left at Wolf Road into hotel parking lot.
From Chicago O’Hare International Airport:
Follow Interstate 190 towards the Chicago Loop. Merge onto 294 North towards Milwaukee, WI. Take the Lake Cook Road exit. Turn left onto Lake Cook Road heading west. Stay to right and exit at Milwaukee Avenue. Turn left onto US 45/Illinois 21/Milwaukee Avenue. Turn left at Wolf Road into hotel parking lot.
From North:
