AOTA State Legislative and Regulatory Monitoring Reports
The State Affairs Group is responsible for all of AOTA's state legislative and regulatory activities.
This department monitors and provides analysis of proposed legislation and regulations affecting occupational therapy in the states, conducts outreach, and provides assistance to state occupational therapy associations on key state issues such as professional regulation and scope of practice.
As part of this ongoing effort AOTA provides weekly legislative and regulatory monitoring reports detailing the new proposals introduced each week along with any actions on existing bills and regulations. All items in the report are linked directly to the text of the proposal so that you may read the measure and see how it will impact OT practice in the states.
Please contact the State Affairs Group at email@example.com if you have questions about the state regulation of occupational therapy and any of the proposed law changes included in the reports.
